Antique Japanese Indigo cotton for bedding (futon cover), stencil resist-dyed (katazome) homespun cotton; hand sewn. c. late 19th C. Approximately 66 x 81 inches (plus 10 inches sewn under, making a total width of 76 inches). Very Good condition; some fading/foxing, especially to one side, two small patch repairs, light discoloration in places (see photos).
