A silk haori in dark blue /navy with a light blue double ikat pattern, the white printed silk lining with hand-applied gold painted dots. There are two small loops sewn on the inside to attach a cord for closing the jacket (cord now missing). All invisibly hand sewn. Made circa second quarter of the 1900s. In excellent condition for wearing or displaying: the lining has a few minor small holes/wear (see photos); there is a little cluster of tiny white spots under one arm (see photo); there are two small light water stains to the lining (see photos).
Dimensions: 48 inches cuff to cuff; 23.5 inches shoulder to shoulder across back; 33 inches long; 17 inches along vertical sleeve opening (partially sewn closed).
